CUSTOM CONFIGURED C420 PAPR SYSTEMS

The C420 PAPR system, a powerful, efficient, comfortable, lightweight and affordable PAPR ystem with top performing filter cartridges, filters contaminants from ambient air and provides a constant filtered airflow of between 115 and 140 lpm to the user’s facepiece thus providing a much higher safety factor due to positive pressure in the mask.

The cooling effect of constant filtered airflow into the facepiece provides a high degree of comfort, greatly reduces pulmonary stress, preserves strength and mental acuity, and will help ensure mission success by extending operational endurance and facilitating heavier work performance, even after extended wear times in humid, heated and highly stressful missions, than would be possible or practical using negative pressure respirators alone. The airflow also prevents fogging in the facepiece and drastically reduces feelings of claustrophobia.

Unlike common commercial PAPR’s, the C420 is air tight and can be effectively decontaminated of NBC agents and other toxic industrial chemicals. In addition batteries may be “hot-swapped” during use in a warm zone environment. The battery compartment is also air-tight, waterproof and decontaminable.
